Overview
Join us on Saturday, October 3 at The Shirley-Eustis House for one of the only apple festivals held in Boston proper! Best of all, it’s FREE.
Celebrating the hardy little apple (and friends) that’s been growing in Roxbury since the 1600s. While sampling our fresh cider you can meet the bunnies, chickens, ducks and goats of Animal Affair and Goats of Dover, or make cider with our own apple harvest. Try your hand at wool spinning or pick up some hand made mittens and scarves for coming winter. Lots of free fall delights and activities and community resources will reconnect you with Roxbury’s rural heritage. And best of all, enjoy a local beer from Democracy Brewing in the pop-up beer garden!
